Queensland storms

in 2008 - a series of three storms tha t hit the region of south-eastern Queensland. The first storm too k place on 16 November 2008, and another two occurred 19 and 20 N ovember. As a result of these developments were killed 2 people. Total damage was valued at around 500 million registered Australian dollars. Wind during the first storm reached a speed of 130 km / h, corresponding to a cyclone of category 3 [2]. Electricity only reached to about 230 000 homes.
